Dawn Cottage is convenient for many activities including walking, cycling and visiting the many pretty towns and villages within the Peak District.
There are footpaths from the door leading to the Tissington Trail and down to the River Dove.
Dove Top is located 3.5 miles from Hartington, 4 miles from Ilam, 8 miles from Ashbourne and 12 miles from Buxton, Bakewell, Chatsworth and Matlock.
There are many places to visit and lots of activities to suit everyone including the famous Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Alton Towers, The Heights of Abraham, the show caves at Castleton, Carsington Reservoir, garden centres, fishing, bird watching, horse riding, shopping villages, local weekly market stalls including a livestock market in Bakewell on Mondays, agricultural shows, well dressing and carnivals and much much more!!
